It's Raining Rain

It has rained the last few days very, very hard. I got caught in the rain again on my way back from training and when I got home, I was totally soaked. But it was OK because I like the rain. It is so fun to just go out in the rain and jump in puddles or whatever you want to do.

Some of you might know and some might not know that Thursday was my Father's birthday. We had some people come over at night and had some time to talk and eat cake. It was cool because some of my friends came over. So we went out to the nearby cancha and played some futbol for a while. You can pray for them, their names are Diego and Oscar. Pray that Daniel and I would be able to be good witnesses to them and lead them to Christ. Also pray for them because their parents are divorced.

Did anyone watch the Mexico and Argentina game? I did. It was a very good game, and so exciting. I got to see my favorite player score a sweet goal, Go Messi!!! But sadly, Mexico lost the game 4-1. They do play good, but sometimes not good enough. Things with soccer are still sweet, and time is ticking down to when we go to Acapulco. I can not wait to go and play! Only three more weeks I think till we set off.

Keep up the prayer.
I also wanted to thank the people who comment on my blog, I really appreciate it when you do. Although it would not hurt for people to comment some more, there are a few people who comment a lot and others who do every month or so. I ask that people would do that more because it makes me feel good, and helps me know that you are there reading what I say. Please comment on my blogs!

Hey I like your new blog look! I'm kind of afraid to write or I might jinx it... I usually comment and others don't. They're scared of me... except for your brave sister who has joined the fan club.

I used to like the rain too. Not too crazy about it anymore since my car permanently looks like it's never seen soap. Also big puddles form around my CLOSED windows, it comes in around the window frame. Gotta love these houses. See in Brazil it was great because the water just ran right back out through the cracks in the floor.

Anyway... have a great day!!

My Dear Special Grandson Tyler: I am writing this for the2nd time...I went to send my comments & didn't remember my google acct info..dah..haven't used it since I blogged you last. Anyhow after some frustration (old age) I will try to say something that makes some sense! I am so very proud of you for your strength & endurance. God understands your anger & unhappiness but He will give you what you need to keep you going. You are much too precious to Him to let you fall. Keep your focus on Him & He WILL be there for you at all times. I too like the rain. I've been caught in a shower more than once "playing" in my flower gardens & just enjoy the freshness & the splash on my face. I no longer jump in puddles but like to walk in the gentle rain. (Notice I said "gentle"). I would so love to meet you at the tournament!! It is just too pricey w/hotels, etc. I sure will be thinking of you & anxiously waiting for some pictures. Wish it would be on TV. Every so often now I see a blurb of soccer games on the tube & I think of you. So proud that you are going & hope you have a great time w/o getting hurt. Well, don't want to bore you. I'll try this again & hope I got it right. Love you so very much. Mama & Skip
